Sega is back on the market for gaming platforms
It became known that the Japanese company Sega thinking back on the market for home game consoles.
About it in one of his last interviews, said the President of Sega Games Co. and chief operating officer of the company, Kenji Matsubara. According to the review Matsubara, at the moment Sega is considering to re-platform Mega Drive, as did Nintendo with their consoles Famicom and Super Famicom Mini Mini. It is expected that the new-old console is set already preset games running via software emulation.
Matsubara said that the release of the updated Mega Drive is just the idea that Sega is actively discussing. Kenji suggested that all Sega fans, who for years asked the company to return to the market home platforms to wait a little longer. Maybe soon the Japanese company will be able to give final comments about the future plans.
